What is Dr Priyanka's Session Fee?

For 2025, the Australian Psychological Society (APS) recommends that a Clinical Psychologist charges a fee of $311 AUD for a standard 46-60 minute session.

Dr Priyanka's fee for 2025 for a 50 minute session is $280 AUD (~$170 USD).

For exceptional financial circumstances, Dr Priyanka will consider a reduced session fee. Please discuss your financial circumstances with her.

Medicare Rebate (Applicable to Australian Clients Only)

If you have a Mental Health Care Plan from a GP, or a referral from a psychiatrist or paediatrician, you are eligible to receive a rebate from Medicare of $141.85 AUD per 50 minute (in-person or telehealth) session with a Clinical Psychologist, for up to 10 sessions per calendar year.

This means that your final out-of-pocket expense for each session (for up to 10 sessions per calendar year) after receiving your rebate will be $138.15 AUD. Once you have paid the full session fee, Dr Priyanka will provide you with an invoice that you can use to claim your rebate. Medicare refunds the rebate amount into your nominated bank account within 1-2 business days.

For exceptional financial circumstances, Dr Priyanka will consider bulk billing. Please discuss your financial circumstances with her.

Can I Use Private Health Insurance?

If you have private health insurance cover, you may be able to place a claim to receive a refund for part or all of your session fee. Please contact your health insurance fund prior to booking your session to find out what you may be covered for.

Late Cancellation

If you wish to cancel or reschedule a booked session, please provide Dr Priyanka with at least 48 hours notice. The full session fee will be charged for a late cancellation/non-attendance.
