How Much Does A Session Cost?

There are 2 options you can choose from:

• Each 50 minute online therapy session costs $220 Australian Dollars (or equivalent in your local currency)

 

• Each 35 minute short online therapy session will cost $150 Australian Dollars (or equivalent in your local currency)

 

 

Can I Use Private Health Insurance?

 

If you have private health insurance cover you may be able to place a claim to receive a refund for part or all of your session fee. Please contact your health insurance fund prior to booking an appointment to find out what you may be covered for.

Medicare Better Access to Mental Health Scheme Rebates for Online Therapy

 

If you have a Mental Health Care Plan that can be provided to you by a GP, or a referral letter from a psychiatrist or paediatrician, you are eligible to receive a Medicare rebate of $137.05 Australian Dollars per 50 minute session, for 10 sessions each calendar year. You pay the full fee for your session and then Medicare refunds the rebate into your bank account usually within 1-2 business days - so you end up paying $82.95 out of pocket per 50 minute session.
